One series ended long before the others as neither team had players with national team obligations. It was a relatively short turnaround for the teams to make the trek back to Lebanon for a Sunday game, but Dynamo Moscow took care of business and beat Al-Riyadi again, this time 69-64 to push the final margin to 144-123. The next series to finish did so on Monday as the Swedish sides clashed again. With such a close first game, it was expected that the second game would be one to watch and it certainly lived up to the hype. Jessica Thomas led Lulea, but Tiffany Brown’s monumental effort fueled Umea to a 95-90 win at home, which was just enough to flip the margin to their favor 169-168. The other two series concluded on Wednesday. TTT Riga brought home a sizable lead from the first game between the Latvian teams and easily extended that, rolling 91-53 to advance past Liepajas 179-108. Good Angels Kosice also had an advantage at home against the other Slovakian side, using a 69-46 win to push the final margin against Piestanske Cajky to 151-107.
