On Friday, Estudiantes was working towards their first win, but Jamie Weisner and Ferrol used a big second half to win 75-59.  The highlight of the round was certainly Saturday’s opener between the league powerhouses.  Avenida showed that they are still the favorites after winning 66-61 in Girona.  Gipuzkoa’s monster fourth quarter got them the 75-71 win at Zamarat.  Bembibre beat Araski 68-55 as Saicha Grant-Allen had a strong professional debut.  Sedis had a surprisingly easy time beating Al-Qazeres 70-39.  Sunday started with Sant Adria beating Promete 91-71.  Zarazoa then beat Gernika 90-69.
