All of the cup quarterfinals were played on Thursday. The first game was expected to be good and lived up to the hype as Adut Bulgak nearly got Elitzur Ramla the win, but Maccabi Ashdod relied on its entire starting lineup to leave with a 76-73 win. There was another battle of top teams in the league as Saniya Chong and Elitzur Holon beat Nia Coffey and Maccabi Ramat Hen 62-54. Shae Kelley led Ramat Hasharon again, this time past Sequoia Holmes and Bnei Yehuda 72-67. A close day of games ended with Atonye Nyingifa’s latest efforts for Hapoel Ironi Rishon Lezion coming up short in Herzliya 62-56.
