The most anticipated game of the second half of the regular season was played on Wednesday as Amber Orrange and Keltern beat Monique Reid and Wasserburg 73-61 to grab the inside track towards the top seed for the playoffs. On Saturday, Brooke LeMar helped Heidelberg record what could be a critical 81-78 win over Melissa Jeltema and Hannover. Brittany Hrynko’s fantastic game for Halle was not enough as Kim Pierre-Louis and Donau-Ries won 76-73. Cyrielle Recoura and Bad Aibling beat Marburg 71-65. On Sunday, Saarlouis beat Chemnitz 63-54. Verdine Warner and Gottingen missed a chance to get closer to safety as they lost 80-79 in overtime to Courtney Range and Herner.
