Bornova’s difficulties extended to their continued participation in this competition so they were removed and Brno graciously agreed to play an exhibition on Saturday, which they won 80-61 over Kibirkstis. Hosts Liepajas then fell to Lulea 96-52. Sunday’s lone game was critical for fourth place in the group and it was Lulea that won 79-61 to move into third place.

The highlight game of the weekend was the battle for first place on Saturday that saw Good Angels Kosice defend their homecourt against Roneeka Hodges and Al-Riyadi 71-64. Laura Westerik had a great game for the Royal Eagles of FSG, but Horizont won 67-57. On Sunday, Al-Riyadi took care of business and beat the Royal Eagles of FSG 94-40 to take second place. Good Angels Kosice completed an undefeated group stage with a 101-66 win over Alena Holubeva and Horizont.
