Another round of games was played on Monday as the end of the regular season approaches. Beijing used a fast start to beat Heilongjiang 87-59 and maintain control of the top seed. Zhejiang got enough from Natasha Howard before minutes restrictions to hold off Wang Xuemeng and Bayi 74-71. It has been rare for Morgan Tuck to be outscored this season, but Candace Parker and Wang Lili teamed up to lead Xinjiang to a 104-78 win over Shaanxi. Jiangsu may have the final piece of their puzzle as Viktoria Medvedeva had a promising debut as their foreign player, helping Xu Chenyan lead them to a 93-77 win over Liu Shuai and Shenyang. Ji Xiao and Lynetta Kizer had good games for Shandong, but Breanna Stewart’s brilliance lifted Shanghai to the 89-87 win to stay in a tie at the top of the standings. Guangdong breezed Zhao Xuetong and Sichuan 83-48. Jonquel Joens and Shanxi beat Wu Shuang and Liaoning 90-73.
