The round started on Friday as Val McQuade and Abigail Asoro teamed up to lead Chemnitz past Donau-Ries 79-70. The two promoted teams faced off on Saturday and it was Heidelberg beating Gottingen 63-53. Wasserburg has had their veil of invincibility pierced forever as they were stunned 68-62 by Lindsay Sherbert and Bad Aibling. Marburg fended off Melissa Jeltema and Hannover 77-74. Sunday started with Courtney Range and Herner beating Sabine Niedola and Saarlouis 67-61. Keltern’s 95-75 win over Halle left them tied at the top of the standings.
