The round name is a misnomer as there are only ten teams playing five games in this round with spots in the quarterfinals on the line where the three EuroLeague teams will finally join the fray. The first game was played on Thursday in Calais as Tarbes simply let Aby Gaye go to work in the post, leading to an 86-56 win over the second division side. Geraldine Robert and Nice needed a furious late comeback to advance past second tier side Angers 70-69. Valeriya Berezhynska and Charleville prevailed 82-64 over Hainaut in one of a pair of battles between top division teams. Lyon edged Mondeville 59-57 on Saturday. Toulouse is now the only lower division club alive after a 68-58 win over Roche.
Teams below first division have league denoted with (2).
