Teams had another quick turnaround for a full set of games on Wednesday. Natasha Howard helped Zhejiang win 80-72 despite an efficient game from Li Yueru for Guangdong. The combination of Wang Lili and Candace Parker kept Xinjiang in first place with an 88-65 win over Shenyang. Liaoning moved back into the top half of the standings after a 74-66 win over Ji Xiao and Shandong. Shanghai jumped out to an early lead to make it hard for Lu Wen and Bayi to get any closer than 76-68 in the final period. Beijing is also in the three-way tie at the top of the standings as they beat Gong Fangzhu and Sichuan 79-70. Morgan Tuck got some help from An Jing, but Shaanxi’s run was stopped by Shanxi as Jonquel Jones and Wu Di teamed up for the 97-79 win. The most impressive start to the season probably belongs to Jiangsu as they beat Aneika Henry and Heilongjiang 76-73 behind Li Shanshan to climb back to .500 with an all-domestic lineup.
