The round started with a pair of Wednesday games as Nicole Seekamp and Adelaide beat Jennifer Hamson and Sydney 77-74. Dandenong avoided being completely pulled away from the pack with a 78-59 win over Townsville. On Thursday, Jordan Hooper and Canberra put up a fight for a while, but the combination of Courtney Williams and Sami Whitconb lifted Perth again and they controlled the fourth quarter to win 89-76. All teams were in action on Saturday. Perth continued their magnificent run as Courtney Williams led them past Adelaide 89-74. Suzy Batkovic and Townsville fended off Katie-Rae Ebzery and Sydney in another game that could factor heavily in the standings later. Dandenong kept contact with the top group of the standings with a 75-67 win over Bendigo. Liz Cambage helped Melbourne trample Nat Hurst and Canberra 92-72.
