Round 7 finished last Sunday. Szekszard won again, this time with Sara Krnjic leading them past Vasas 79-57. Round 8 started on Saturday with ZTE winning 74-69 at Ujbuda. Gyor then won in Miskolc 74-61 over DVTK. Pecsi edged Cegled 60-57 and Pecs beat Vasas 82-72 on Sunday. The round finished with an important game to set the tone for the rest of the regular season. Szekszard proved that they are no fluke by beating Sopron 66-53.
