The fast start to the season continued with another round of games on Wednesday. Beijing took advantage of Sichuan not fielding their foreign player and eased to a 68-48 win. Shanghai continued to stay with them in the undefeated column as they got contributions from Breanna Stewart when she was on the court to build up a lead and hold off Bayi 75-71 despite the best efforts of Lu Wen and Sun Mengran. Shaanxi continues to find life tough at this level, losing to Shanxi 87-59. Xinjiang continued to not field a foreign player and Wang Lili helped them beat Shenyang and the power duo of Li Meng and Jin Jiabao 97-81. Heilongjiang used their advantage in the post with Aneika Henry and she got help from Zhang Jiahe as they escaped Jiangsu 66-63. Li Yueru continues to show that it may not be too early to talk about the 2019 WNBA Draft before the 2018 one as she had an incredible game in Guangdong’s 82-75 win over Zhejiang. Lynetta Kizer had a good game for Shandong, but Liaoning is now all alone in third place after coming back to win 67-66.
