Adelaide’s attempts to keep their lead on the field were stopped in overtime as Dandenong escaped with an 83-81 win. Alice Kunek and Perth had their intended lineup back as they beat Suzy Batkovic and Townsville 87-68. On Saturday, the venues were switched as it was Canberra’s turn to host Sydney with the same result as Asia Taylor helped the visitors win 81-72. Bendigo jumped out of last place with a 71-66 win over Melbourne. On Sunday, Suzy Batkovic and Townsville made a statement by doubling up Adelaide 84-42. Liz Cambage was the difference for Melbourne in a special Monday game as they were the fourth team to reach five wins after beating Dandenong 60-57.
