A partial round of weekday games started with an unusual Monday game. Sopron used a strong first half to beat DVTK in Miskolc. ZTE had a bye in the first round so they were the last team to start the season, opening with a solid 58-46 win over Pecsi as Sigrid Koizar made her return to Europe while Ivey Slaughter started her professional career on the other side. Maja Vucurovic and Pecs beat MTK 90-56, although Andrijana Cvitkovic continued a strong start to her return to Europe. Wednesday’s action closed with an exciting game as Jefimija Karakasevic and Vasas edged Ujbuda 70-66
