On Saturday, Herner beat Gottingen 84-60. Svenja Greunke and Finja Schaake teamed up to lead Marburg past Lindsay Sherbert and Bad Aibling 93-79. On Sunday, Vee Young had a great game for Heidelberg, but they fell short at Hannover 72-69. Sabine NIedola also had a big individual effort, but Saarlouis lost to Chemnitz 69-56. The best game came from Khadijah Shumpert for Halle, but they lost to Jennifer Schlott and Donau-Ries 85-78. The day ended with the clash of the presumed title favorites. Amber Orrange led Keltern, but the balanced effort of Wasserburg helped them get the 76-67 win after a strong fourth quarter.
