Mexico opened the day with a slow start, but they eventually got the 61-44 win over Guatemala. Puerto Rico then took care of business against the Bahamas and won 69-42. Victoria Hamilton helped the hosts become the first team to clinch a spot at the AmeriCup with a 60-40 win over Jamaica. The final day will start with the two eliminated teams playing. If Mexico beats Jamaica in the second game, they will qualify and bring Puerto Rico along with them. A Jamaica win would mean the US Virgin Islands will help determine the qualifier in the last game.
