The first game of a highly-anticipated finals matchup was played on Sunday.  The game was close throughout, but the upstarts from Yakin Dogu University did enough in the second half to win 78-70.  Candace Parker led the traditional powerhouse Fenerbahce, but a late season also helped the hosts as Yelena Leuchanka had a good game.  They will also host the next game on Tuesday as they will look to increase their lead and put pressure on the preseason favorites.
