A few games from Round 22 needed to be made up before the simultaneous Wednesday tipoffs for the final round.  On Thursday, Hatay brought in Jovana Popovic for a rare domestic league appearance and beat Gintare Petronyte and Mersin 73-66.  Makeup games continued on Saturday as Moriah Jefferson and Galatasaray beat Chelsea Gray and Abdullah Gul University 77-69.  Yakin Dogu University moved back up to the top of the standings as Tan White’s efforts for Istanbul University were not enough to overcome Courtney Vandersloot’s passing clinic to feed Kayla McBride and Quanitra Hollingsworth.

Wednesday was quite a busy day for the final set of games.  Girne University took advantage of a Hatay team locked into their seed to win 69-55 and finish atop the group of struggling teams.  The battle of Mersin teams saw Danielle Robinson and the more established side beat the the upstarts 94-84 as the hosts wasted big games from Rebekkah Brunson and Michelle Snow to fail to match the other troubled teams.  Fenerbahce beat Botas 87-65.  Canik lost to Besiktas 66-53, but still managed to avoid dropping into the danger zone.  Galatasaray gave Rebekah Gardner and Osmaniye a leg up on trying to climb out of last place knowing that they were virtually locked into their seed, but still beat them 89-78.  Abdullah Gul University prevented Istanbul University from hanging on to their seed by beating them 81-48.  Angel Robinson and Yakin Dogu University grabbed the top seed in style with a 102-61 win over Adana Aski.  The teams remaining now have a short turnaround for the quarterfinals on Saturday.
