Both home teams needed wins on Wednesday to keep their championship hopes alive.  Dora Medgyessy tried to lead the way for Cegled, but they fell short 74-67 against Atomeromu.  Aleksandra Crvendakic and Sopron also won on the road, beating Gyor 83-65 to complete the finals matchup.

Sopron wins series 2-0

5th Place Playoffs:

The first series continued on Wednesday with Pecs finishing the sweep with a 59-52 win over Vasas.  The other series played on Thursday.  Kirby Burkholder and ZTE completed a big comeback in the fourth quarter to beat Miskolc 77-69 and make at least one of the series go to a deciding game, which will be played on Sunday.
