The remaining teams in the competition all headed to Kosice for the final weekend of play. TTT Riga started Friday by doubling up Horizont 84-42. Zuzana Zirkova led the hosts past Kibirkstis 76-65 next. Asia Boyd had a good game for Lublin, but they lost to Ana Dabovic and Dynamo Moscow 73-69. Istanbul University had a scheduling conflict and sent their backups and youth team, losing 91-38 to Dominika Miloszewska and Gdynia.
The semifinals were played first on Saturday. Good Angels won first 79-58 against Dynamo Moscow. TTT Riga then joined them with a 75-68 win over Gdynia. Istanbul University’s youth team was done standing in for their main team after losing 95-39 to Horizont. Kibirkstis earned themselves another game by beating Lublin 64-53.
Sunday started with the 5th place game, which was quite close as Horizont edged Kibirkstis 65-63. Ana Dabovic and Kamile Nacickaite both caught fire as Dynamo Moscow beat Gdynia 88-69. The hosts sent the fans home happy with 67-44 win over TTT Riga in the final. The competition expanded to new countries and teams this year, resulting in a compelling competition.
