No European play for the week meant there was time to fit in a full midweek round of games.  Gran Canaria beat Gipuzkoa as they try to make a late season jump towards safety.  C.R.E.F. is also attempting an escape and made another set of roster moves, which paid off immediately as they beat Bembibre 68-60 with Sarah Imovbioh leading the way.  Araski now has the edge for fourth place as Margaret Roundtree led them to a 75-70 win over Katarina Tetemondova and Zaragoza 75-70.  The result may not have an effect on the final standings, but Gernika debuted a new player and gave Girona something to think about for a likely future playoff matchup by beating them 61-50.  Avenida took advantage of the chance to widen their lead with a 75-53 win over Promete.  Zamarat is now looking down the standings after a 72-64 loss to Sedis.  The massive pileup in the middle of the standings continues to exist as Patricia Cabrera and Ferrol won 74-71 at Al-Qazeres.
