The three remaining series finished on Wednesday. Darxia Morris and Torun had forced the series back home, but Bydgoszcz used the duo of DeNesha Stallworth and Bernice Mosby to escape with the 86-80 win. Wisla looked to put this unexpectedly difficult series behind them after taking care of Lublin with a strong first half and winning 60-43. The last game of the day had plenty of drama. Polkowice, which had already trailed 2-0 in the series, used a second half comeback to force overtime at Gorzow, eventually leaving with an 87-81 win. Steph Talbot and Nicole Seekamp tried to give the hosts one last Australian one-two punch, but it was not enough. The winning teams now join Sleza Wroclaw, which got some much needed rest as Games 1 and 2 will be on Saturday and Sunday.
