Dandenong needed to win at home on Friday to extend the series to Sunday. They had a solid start, but Sydney then controlled the last three quarters to win 75-62 to win the championship. It was a very competitive season in Australia with plenty of title contenders, but in the end, the team that led the way in the regular season finished with the trophy.
