Group B:
The highlight of the round came on Wednesday as it took three overtime periods to decide the game in Hungary before Hatay escaped with the 98-95 win. Courtney Paris and Barbara Turner had impressive statistics for the visitors while Yvonne Turner and Aleksandra Crvendakic led the hosts. 5 players played more than 50 minutes, including Natalie Hurst appearing in the full 55. Polkowice may have already been eliminated, but gave their fans something to cheer about by beating Villeneuve to prevent them from having a chance to advance. Bourges beat Avenida 69-63 at home, but will still need to beat Hatay next week to advance while the visitors managed to back into a quarterfinals place with the loss. The only game on Thursday decided the top spot in the group as UMMC was eventually able to get the 88-81 win over Nadezhda in Ekaterinburg. Brittney Griner led the hosts while Amanda Zahui B paced the visitors. Both teams are now locked into their positions heading into the final week.
