One of the main dramas of the final week was resolved early as Adelaide knocked Canberra out of contention 76-74 with Colleen Planeta and Alex Ciabattoni leading the visitors.  Seedings continued to clear up on Saturday.  Sara Blicavs and Dandenong beat Perth 81-59.  Sydney was then able to take the top spot with a 98-83 win over Colleen Planeta and Adelaide.  A game with no impact on the playoffs saw Bendigo beat Maddie Garrick and Melbourne 80-79.  Suzy Batkovic and Townsville are locked into fourth place after a 90-83 loss to Mikaela Ruef and Canberra.  The last game on Sunday saw Sami Whitcomb and Perth fail to take the second seed and the resulting homecourt advantage as they left Bendigo with a 73-72 loss.  The top four teams will start the best of three semifinals on Saturday with the teams switching venues for Game 2 on the following Friday.  If necessary, the teams will to turn around and travel quickly for Game 3s on that Sunday.
