Thanks for all the updates. Phoenix has three spots available due to retirement/pregnancy. What positions do you think they will seek? When will Brittney resign or will she? Is Candice returning?

Thanks for checking out the site. We appreciate you! Phoenix filled their point guard need with the addition of Robinson. I’m sure Griner will be back as she is a restricted free agent and there is no way Phoenix would allow another team to take her. Dupree is under contract and perhaps they are in search of another post player. Don’t forget they still have Bone who can back up Griner.

It seems like the team needs some help in the front court. Bass is out, Harrison is out and I heard that Dupree might be out as well. Are there any good power forwards available?

They will definitely miss Harrison. She showed instances of becoming a great pro player. There arent really any power forwards on the market. Maybe they will make another trade.

Why is Phoenix moving so slowly on completing their roster? Are they trying to figure out how to free up cash for multiple max contracts? Pittman mentioned the newly acquired PG being good for Taurasi and Griner, but there was no mention of Bonner, Dupree or, Bone. Will Petrovich, Xargay and Cayla George return? It appears that Harden is having a good season in Israel.. Even if all of those mentioned are on the team in May, there still remains 2 spots. Maybe they will take their changes on their 2nd and 3rd round draft picks.. Thanks in advance for your response.

They still have time to make moves. Teams don’t need to rush into things. Im pretty sure they are talking with players and teams working on deals. Something will surely come out of Phoenix. They filled a big hole with signing Robinson. Remember Bonner came off the bench last season so Robinson at the 1 Taurasi at the 2 and Bonner at the 3 is a pretty dangerous front court. They have dupree and griner in the backcourt. Phx needs to figure out their bench. I still think something big will come out of phx.

You were right, Phoenix is making moves, but no trades just additions. Are any of those additions training camp contracts? I really don’t understand why Brittney and Dewanna has not signed., I am reading rumors that Dupree will be traded. and no one has even spoken about Bone. I am assuming Bone maybe moving on to another team.. Thanks

Phoenix has let another great player go. Last year Currie, now Dupree. In addition, they also sent their young first round draft picks away two years in a row. I noticed that you don’t have Shay Murphy on your list and the Mercury didn’t make an announcement on their site that she was signed but she is on the roster. Is she a training camp signing?

I noticed that Xargay, Petrovich and Bone have all been removed from Phoenix roster. Do you know if they are sitting out this year?

I believe Xargay and Petrovich may have both been on one year contracts. Xargay joined after the olympics. They could be in negotiations or may not be returning. Bone was a restricted free agent so I’m not sure what is going on with her at this point. I doubt that she will sit out!
