On Saturday, Avenida maintained their lead as Adaora Elonu led them past Gipuzkoa 74-59.  Shacobia Barbee and Ferrol beat Ariel Edwards and Bembibre 71-61.  Gran Canaria looks to be in trouble again after a 78-50 loss to Gernika.  C.R.E.F. gave itself a better chance of staying in the league with a 64-61 win over Zamarat.  Another close game finished the day as Zaragoza won 56-53 at Sedis.  On Sunday, Leonor Rodriguez and Artemis Spanou teamed up to lead Girona past Al-Qazeres 75-56.  Nicole Romeo and Robyn Parks helped Promete beat Marta Tudanca and Araski, preventing the visitors from opening a gap on the other teams in the race for the playoffs.
