Spanish League Round 15 January 13th-15th

The round started on Friday as Nicole Romeo and Promete visited Al-Qazeres and overcame the duo of Ameryst Alston and Pam Rosanio 82-70.  On Saturday, Girona won 77-63 at Ferrol.  Sedis made a massive comeback at Gipuzkoa and forced overtime to beat Nadia Gomes Colhado and company 73-72 as all but 3 of their points came from domestic players.  The overtime game in Basque Country trend continued with Amisha Carter and Gernika edging Margaret Roundtree and Araski 63-61.  Gran Canaria started to position themselves for an escape from the bottom with a 62-46 win over CREF as they showed off a new look roster.  On Sunday, Zaragoza beat Bembibre 61-48.  Avenida finished the round in first place, but got a tougher than expected fight from Zamarat before winning 80-73.
