The round started off earlier than usual with a Thursday game as Adelaide nearly pulled off a third straight win before losing 77-74 to Sydney. On Friday, it was a similar story with Sydney making the trip to Bendigo and having Leilani Mitchell fire them to a 71-68 win. On Saturday, it took overtime, but Dandenong stayed in first place as Ally Malott led them past Melbourne 73-61. Canberra edged Suzy Batkovic and Townsville 73-67 as both teams still lurk outside the playoffs.
