On Friday, Girona took the wind out of the sails of Al-Qazeres a bit by beating them 78-61.  Haley Peters is definitely in full form now as she led the visitors while Ameryst Alston continues to try to push the hosts to a good start in their return to the league.  Games continued on Saturday with Avenida breezing past Gipuzkoa 77-43.  Destiny Williams helped C.R.E.F. win 66-52 at Zamarat.  Araski was able to upgrade their roster over the week and got a solid 72-58 win over Promete.  Shacobia Barbee had a good game for Ferrol, but it was not enough as Bembibre got the 69-57 win.  Amisha Carter and Gernika beat struggling Gran Canaria 69-51.  There was one game on Sunday as Zaragoza slumped to a 61-49 defeat at home to Sedis.
