Nadezhda cruised past Spartak Noginsk 87-54. New look Dynamo Moscow had a good start in their local rivalry after beating Spartak Moscow 59-47. UMMC was missing nearly all of their key players, but beat Chevakata 76-56. Kazanochka started their season on Monday and welcomed UMMC to their home, losing 67-47. Dynamo Kursk was the last team to start its season and had an easy 87-44 win at Spartak Noginsk. Nadezhda finished the first set of games with an 84-64 win at Spartak Moscow.
