Group A:
The first game in the group was between winless teams as Kibirkstis edged Avangard Kiev 54-51. Good Angels had an easy time with Tsmoki in a 72-40 win. The battle of first day winners closed the day and it was TTT Riga winning 68-64 in front of the home fans. Tess Madgen had another good game for Lublin, but it was not enough.

Group B:
Gdynia got their second win as they started the day by beating Horizont 67-56. A battle of winless teams went to Astana 74-72. Liepaja got good contributions from Kristine Silaraja and Ilze Jakobsone, but it was not enough. The most anticipated game was the last one in the group between the presumed favorites. It probably would have been even more entertaining if both teams had been at full strength, but Dynamo Moscow did beat Istanbul University 77-67.
