Fenerbahce took a 2-0 series lead after defeating Hatay at home Thursday evening. Although they had some trouble behind the three point line, Fener shot over 50% from inside the arc. Domestic league player Birsel Vardarli Demirmen led all scorers with 20 points! Hatay had four players score in double figures but it wasn’t enough to slow down a Fenerbahce team with great depth and balance. Hatay will have the chance to play game three at home as they face elimination. Both games have been fairly close so look for Hatay to bring their best in front of their home fans.
