Playoff:
While there are still some leagues in the middle of their seasons, the last of the bigger name European leagues concluded on Sunday night with the deciding game in France. Lattes Montpellier hosted Bourges and took the lead heading into halftime. The visitors quickly got back into the game as the second half started and the game was close the rest of the way before the hosts edged proceedings 65-63. Anael Lardy hit the winning free throws as she led the victors in scoring. Paoline Salagnac had a good game in the loss, but it was not enough. The final matchup was between the expected teams and the regular season leaders did just enough to win the title as not being in European competition may have given them the extra energy that they needed.
