The lower ranked teams got to host their first games on Thursday.  Abdullah Gul University faced elimination against Fenerbahce, but rallied to extend their season with a 75-62 win.  The other series started the day tied and both teams were missing point guards.  Angel McCoughtry took the leading role for Mersin again, but the balance of Hatay won out as they escaped 57-55 with a couple of domestic players stepping up to fill a void.  The teams will face off in the same places on Saturday as the top two teams all season long try to close out their series on the road.
