Turkish League Quarterfinals Game 1

The playoffs started in Turkey on Saturday with Game 1 for half of the Quarterfinal participants.  Zoi Dimitrakou and Abdullah Gul University will enjoy snagging home court advantage against Galatasaray as they won 67-55.  Allie Quigley and Fenerbahce showed their mettle as the top seed with a 78-70 win over Gelistirenler.  On Sunday, Hatay continued their strong season as Natalie Hurst led them past Essence Carson and Samsun 78-64.  Angel McCoughtry and Bria Hartley were the difference makers for Mersin as they beat Viktoria Mircheva and Istanbul University 78-72.
