Home teams were looking to keep their championship hopes alive on Friday. Wasserburg refused to lose for the first time all season domestically as they got a test from Marburg, but won 75-65 behind Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe. The other series also ended up in a sweep as Corinne Costa exploded for Saarlouis and Sabine Niedola provided her usual contribution in their 83-75 win over Sonja Greinacher and Herner. The two series losers will face off in a two game series for third place while the winners have a best of five finals when action resumes next weekend.
