One of Galatasaray’s games that was  moved due to EuroLeague was made up on Wednesday. Aneika Henry took the lead scoring role for Mersin as they beat Gala by 2 points 68-66. On Saturday, it was Angel McCoughtry leading Mersin in scoring, but Yakin Dogu University got the win 73-57 to improve their chances at safety.  Botas was the latest team to benefit from problems at Orduspor as Avery Warley and D’Andra Moss led them to the 155-48 win. Yildiz Kaygisiz scored half of her team’s points in the loss.  Galatasaray bounced back with a 74-54 win over Gelistirenler.  Adana put themselves in better position to fight for safety after a 60-55 win over Stefanie Dolson and Edirnespor.  On Sunday, Essence Carson led Samsun to a 79-69 win over Besiktas although Ayse Cora did try to pick up the scoring slack for the hosts.  The highly anticipated game between the two teams at the top of the standings went to Fenerbahce 74-72 with Allie Quigley winning the battle of Hungarian players with Hatay’s Anna Vajda.  The round finished on Monday as a game was moved for the EuroCup.  Chelsea Gray and Zoi Dimitrakou helped win a battle of university sponsored teams as Abdullah Gul University beat Tan White and Istanbul University 81-72.
