The round started on Saturday with Hatay continuing their strong season with a 56-52 win over Abdullah Gul University. On Sunday, Mersin knew that they did not need much from their stars to beat Orduspor. Duygu Firat led the domestic contingent to the 120-59 win although Yildiz Kaygisiz did have a good game. Galatasaray won 73-70 at Samsun as they have a number of games to make up. Evanthia Maltsi was the leading scorer, but Besiktas won 70-69 to move into a playoff place. Tan White and Istanbul University moved above .500 with a 71-68 win over Gelistirenler. Ivory Latta and Olesia Malashenko led Edirne closer to safety and left Yakin Dogu University in perilous position with a 79-72 win. Fenerbahce continues to lead the field decisively after a 76-66 win over an Adana side still trying to claw their way up. Jantel Lavender and Erlana Larkins had a good battle in the post.
