Gran Canaria lost 69-52 to Zamarat at home. Mann-Filter is pushing for the playoffs as Paola Ferrari led them to a 100-46 pasting of Promete. Lyndra Weaver led CREF to a 63-61 win at Gipuzkoa, but both teams are still too close to the bottom for comfort. Claudia Pop and Gernika still lurk outside the playoffs after an 81-51 win over Bembibre. Conquero came back to beat Girona 78-68 to stay clearly in second. Vanessa Gidden and Avenida stayed dominant with a 77-57 win over Cadi La Seu. The main story of the round, however, was a first win for Azkoitia, victimizing Ferrol 65-60. The team may have no hope of leaving last place, but at least avoid ignominy in their brief time in the top division.
