Sepsi started their playoffs as the top seed, beating Targoviste 63-50 on Friday. The other series was delayed due to the Central European Women’s League playoffs, but finally started on Wednesday with Jelena Antic leading Alba Iulia to a 58-41 win over Brasov.

5th Place Playoffs:
Arad continued to struggle as they lost Game 1 of their series with Alexandria 80-25 on Thursday. On Friday, a terrific game between Cluj Napoca and Galati went to the visitors 85-76. Myneshia McKenzie was the leading scorer and rebounder as the winners needed her to help cancel out good games from Brittany Wilson and Ashley Grimes.
