It was not a full round of games, but it did start on Friday with Napoli continuing their momentum with an 80-54 win over Cagliari. Gintare Petronyte continued an impressive run although Nikolina Milic did get to play with her whole team in the loss. On Saturday, Jolene Anderson and Schio beat Parma 97-62. The big game of the day saw Ragusa edge Lucca 60-57 to produce a three way tie in the loss column at the top of the standings pending another clash of the powerhouses. Venezia lurks in fourth place after an 85-56 win over Orvieto. Vigarano assured themselves safety with a 66-50 win over a Sesto San Giovanni team that now appears to be in trouble. Yvonne Anderson and Costanza Coen had great games for Torino, but they still lost to San Martino 71-62.
