There was only one series decided on Wednesday with only one more spot to fill. The game was close in the first half in Russia, but UMMC Ekaterinburg used a stern homecourt advantage to pull away in the second half and beat Galatasaray 86-66. Diana Taurasi would not be denied the chance to avenge last season as she led all scorers and helped set up the rest of the stars on the team.

UMMC Ekaterinburg wins series 2-1
The four teams are now set for the Final Four. The highlight will definitely be the latest installment of the series between USK Praha and UMMC Ekaterinburg that will be a rematch of last year’s championship, among other big games. The other game will feature Fenerbahce against Nadezhda. Those two teams are likely to have a slight advantage in being awarded hosting privileges if all four teams express interest. Praha and Ekaterinburg have more recently hosted the event. Istanbul has also hosted recently, but not at the home arena of Fenerbahce with Orenburg an option if a new host is to be chosen.
