After the regular season in the Czech League, the top eight teams are contesting the best of five quarterfinals. The bottom four teams are in the Play Out, which features a double round robin format with standings from the regular season carrying over to this round.
Quarterfinals:
The playoffs started on Friday with the top seeds in action first. USK Praha had an easy time against Karlovy Vary as Katerina Elhotova and Sonja Petrovic led them to the 117-56 win. Nymburk beat VS Praha 70-55. On Saturday, Slavia Praha won one on the road 81-74 at Hradec Kralove as Krystal Vaughn continues to have one of the strongest individual seasons in the league. Kara Trutnov beat Valosun Brno 75-58.

Play Out:
The first game of the Play Out went as expected with Zabiny Brno clearly better than last place Strakonice 72-43 on Wednesday. Ostrava’s late season additions may make the difference as they edged Slovanka 56-55 on the road on Saturday.
