The Czech Cup uses a hybrid format starting with knockout rounds open to clubs in the lower division as well. Four teams advanced to the final phase which is played over the course of two days.
The semifinals were on Sunday and Hradec Kralove won the first one 82-75 despite the best efforts of Veronika Vlkova for Valosun Brno. The second game saw Nymburk beat Karlovy Vary 80-61 although they had to withstand a good game from Dana Kuslitova.
Monday started with the third place game as Valosun Brno used balance to beat Karlovy Vary 89-68. The usual brilliance from Dana Kuslitova and Julia Reisingerova was not enough to get at least one win.
The expected champion won the final as Egla Siksniute led Nymburk past Hradec Kralove 75-65.
