The round started on Friday with Haley Peters and the Conquero frontcourt beating Ferrol 84-63. Promete was the latest team to beat Azkoitia with Leslie Knight helping provide the 75-62 final margin. Zamarat won 70-66 over Claudia Pop and Gernika as teams try to pull away from the surprisingly high drop line. Cadi La Seu stayed just outside the playoff places as they left Gran Canaria in the dreaded 13th place with a 79-70 win. A strong Estela Royo effort and a triple-double from Taysha Pye were not enough for a team that sits surprisingly at the bottom of the barrel. On Sunday, Paola Ferrari fired Zaragoza past CREF 67-55. A great individual battle between Chrissy Givens and Shanece McKinney went to visitors Bembibre 72-62 as Girona is in danger of sliding.
