The first game of the day saw Bnot Hertzeliya re-enter the picture as contenders as Jasmine Thomas led them to a 67-52 win over the Maccabi Ashdod team that had been capturing all of the attention.  Maccabi Ramat Hen quickly returned to winning ways 83-62 as Kayla Thornton led them again against full strength Ramat Hasharon.  A big effort from Shamela Hampton was not enough for ASA Jerusalem as Jennifer O’Neill turned in the round biggest scoring output for a Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion. They are still  integrating a new foreign player, Chiney Nwagbo, but managed to win 84-73.  The battle between the two teams at the bottom went to Elitzur Holon 80-61 as Jamierra Faulkner and Atonye Nyingifa continue to be one of the league’s best inside-outside duos, offsetting a good game from Jillian Robbins.
