The Round of 8 was completed on Thursday. In Italy, Reyer Venezia overturned the deficit from the first game to send the series into overtime, but it was Jelena Milovanovic and Cappie Pondexter that dominated the extra frame to win 64-62 in the game and 139-129 overall. It was the second team that Besiktas upset as the 16 seed, now taking out the 1 and 8 seeds. 2 seed Miskolc made things less suspenseful as they dispatched 10 seed Nymburk 77-50, pushing the overall score to 146-114. 3 seed Spartak Moscow had a small deficit, but took care of business with ease at home as Emma Meesseman led them to an 82-64 win and an 139-124 overall score. 13 seed Angers did show some fight at 5 seed Landes, but they still lost the game 63-55 and the overall series 118-92 with Gunta Basko-Melnbarde leading the way. The four teams now await the four teams dropping down from EuroLeague to determine the bracket for the rest of the competition.
