The round started on Friday with Cayla George dominating inside to lead Townsville to an 89-80 win over Sydney. Kayla Standish helped Adelaide ease past Melbourne 70-47. On Saturday, a key game for postseason positioning saw Steph Cumming and Dandenong beat Kelsey Griffin and Bendigo 82-74. Sami Whicomb, Carley Mijovic, and Perth finished the weekend in first place as Melbourne was handed another loss 80-59. Great games from Renee Montgomery and Abby Bishop did not lead to a first win for Canberra as Leilani Mitchell and Kayla Standish led Adelaide to the 85-82 win. Lauren Mansfield helped SEQ prevail 92-73 over Sydney as both teams sit right outside the last playoff place.
