A giant rebounding effort from Cierra Bravard helped Gipuzkoa beat suddenely slipping Gran Canaria 63-61. Shanece McKinney led Bembibre as they managed to sneak past Promete 67-65. Vanessa Gidden and Avenida maintain firm control at the top after an 80-72 win at Gernika. Ferrol used a balanced effort from their starters to beat Zamarat 65-58. On Sunday, Cadi La Seu surprised Girona 69-68. Zaragoza took advantage of other results to close the weekend in a playoff place, handing Azkoitia another loss as they try to adjust to life in the top division.
